We came here and we’re greeted with a very aesthetically pleasing ambiance. The exterior is gorgeously decorated with a classy Italian style and a unique modern twist. The plates cups and bowls are extraordinarily gorgeous and add so much to the aesthetics. Inside there is a really cool interior. We were greeted by the staff who was accommodating attentive and aware. They gave us popcorn which was a unique welcoming touch. The food is really good and worth the price. The pizza is in between a thin crust and Napoletana but still delicious. I would say the drinks are very pricey. But overall a must when visiting central Vienna.
Viva La Mamma is an Italian restaurant in the city center, located just a few steps from Stubentor U-Bahn and not too far from Stephanplatz too.
The place is greatly decorated.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The bar, the first thing you run into on coming in, is awesome.
On the other hand, I found both the pizza and the carbonara pasta not as good as the rest. 😏
Highly recommend for an amazing italian cuisine! The place is great and the food is delicious. Also - great selection of wine and cocktails. This was not our first nor the last visit!
If I could give this 10 stars, I would. We came here after doing a quick search on the best Italian food in Vienna. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff are really great too. It also gets booked up quickly so definitely make a reservation! I will be talking about this meal for a long time!
Viva la mamma is absolutely stunning inside. The service was amazing and the only thing that I’ve found bad is the menu. It is just impossible to decide what to eat so it’s definitely a place to come back again. This time I ate pizza vitello fortuna and every slice was a slice of heaven.. Very glad for discovering this place!
I love Italian and that was great Italian food! We got the truffle pasta, the risotto, and the buffalo mozzarella pizza and all were top notch. The waiter Abood was especially cheerful, nice, conversational and added to the nice experience. The restaurant was packed which tells you it’s definitely the place to be.
